The Texas trauma surgeon tweeted that the lungs of patients with Wuhan pneumonia (novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19) are worse than the lungs of old smokers, with all the foggy white shadows in the X-ray photos, and she said the damage caused by the Wuhan virus is suspected to be permanent.
