As the Communist virus that has affected the world remains a pandemic, this year’s Consumer Electronics Show CES is an online exhibition where the latest technology products will compete for unveiling.
“A wide variety of masks and masks, technologically sophisticated voice assistants, 5G technology for high-speed Internet service for everything, more 8K televisions, and more practical robots ……,” Greg Kahn, CEO of GK Digital Ventures and the Internet of Things, told Fox News.
This year’s CES began on Jan. 11 and runs through the 14th. Fox News has compiled a list of some of the cutting-edge and core technologies.
8K and mini-LED TVs
With about 33 million pixels, four times more than most 4K TVs, 8K TVs remain out of reach for most consumers at a premium price. However, manufacturers such as Samsung and LG are still keen to promote these products at CES.
Mini-LED display technology will also be a theme, as this type of TV offers better brightness, color and contrast compared to current LCD TVs. LG will showcase its own mini-LED TV, which it has developed and named QNED. Samsung will also showcase its new Micro LED TV.
Real 5G services
Superfast (5G) wireless networks were in the spotlight at CES 2020, but were not widely available to consumers at the time. Expect more 5G networks to be available to consumers this year, as the latest phones, such as the iPhone 12 handset, are equipped with 5G connectivity.
5G capabilities will add a lot of luster to smaller high-tech products, such as smart glasses. Of course, major wireless network services companies are also starting to offer 5G services.
Masks, air filtration products
Due to the Communist virus plague pandemic, masks are now a fashionable and trendy product with a special purpose.
According to media reports, high-tech masks with patented anti-bacterial, anti-viral, filtering and breathable technologies are expected to be unveiled at CES, as are smart air purifiers and UV disinfection lights.
LG released the PuriCare wearable air purifier this summer. It is equipped with a HEPA filter and includes a breathing sensor that detects the user’s breathing cycle and breathing volume in order to adjust the speed of the built-in fan.
Internet of Things and health Monitoring
Consumers are also looking forward to a range of small health monitoring appliances and apps.
GK Digital Ventures’ Kahn said small wearable devices and apps could allow seniors to be more independent and autonomous. “For example, some high-tech pill bottles that can connect to the Internet have sensors inside that can send data on the time to open and close the lid and take the pill to the cloud to avoid mistakes by the person taking the pill.”
Other high-tech technologies include robots and voice assistants small appliances
Some other technologies to watch out for are increasingly practical robots. And more intelligent voice assistants available on products such as Amazon Echo Loop Ring and Amazon Frames as well as door locks with voice capabilities.
