From Jan. 6 to the present, the U.S. Congress storming has been widely reported by the leftist media, pointing the finger at President Trump, while lopsidedly claiming that Trump supporters broke into the Capitol. But a number of Chinese Californians who were at the scene before the incident said that what they saw was not the real situation.
Ms. Liu, who lives in California, arrived in Washington, D.C. at noon with several friends to participate in the “Save America” and to convey the voice of civil society in support of Trump and demand for fair elections to all members of Congress who attended the joint session.
“The crowd was really huge, and I could feel that Trump is very loved and respected by the people. Ms. Liu said, “The people who really support Trump are very friendly, very pure and kind people. The weather was very bad that day, very cold and cloudy, but walking into that crowd, it felt very warm.”
However, she also noticed that on the outside of the crowd, every now and then a few Antifa people would make trouble, trying to provoke Trump supporters and cause trouble. “But there were really too many Trump supporters, so those people didn’t quite dare to get close to the big crowd, and just made trouble on the outside.”

She also noticed one thing: “The time of Trump’s speech was delayed for a long time than the original time. The Congress started meeting at 1:00 p.m., and at 1:30 p.m., Trump had not finished his speech, and Trump did not encourage people to go to Congress. Later some people did not wait for Trump to finish his speech, they had to hurry to the Congress to go, because the meeting has been started for a long time, they have to go to express public opinion. The main thing is that there are too many people at the scene, a large number of people can not get inside, even the big screen can not see, so they went in the direction of Congress.”
Before the incident suddenly heard that was allowed to enter the Capitol
Later, Ms. Liu and her friend K, separated from other friends who went together, could only march with the large group in the direction of the National Assembly while looking for friends. By 2:00 p.m., they walked to the front of the Capitol and stopped in front of a small sculpture next to it.
She described how after a while, she suddenly heard people at the front of the line start cheering. “At first I thought there was some good news coming from the Capitol. Then a girl told me that it was the pro-Trump police who had opened all the doors. I still couldn’t believe it and continued to ask, and what the other person meant was that the police opened the doors of the Capitol so that people could get in. We were also asked if we were both going to go, and people didn’t think it was going to be a violent incident.”
“Before the incident, we were so close to the entrance of the Capitol that we could have walked there in half a minute if there was no one in the way. But because the scene was so crowded, to walk to the door, it was not possible to walk for a while, plus we had to find our friends, so we did not go forward at that time.” She said.
As a result, there was soon an incident in which someone stormed the Congress and police and citizens clashed. Looking back now, Ms. Liu believes that the incident, was a premeditated plan that the left had laid out in advance.
“Because of all the Trump supporters on the scene, everyone was calm and the scene was quiet. It was because someone said that the police also openly supported Trump and opened the door to let everyone in, and everyone believed it, so they slowly moved forward without overreacting. If I wasn’t looking for a friend, I probably would have gone in too.” She said.
While the leftist media claims that it was Trump supporters who broke into Congress, there is growing evidence that BLM and Antifa were mixed in with the crowd, leading and encouraging the protesters to break into Congress. On January 7, John Sullivan, founder of the far-left group Insurgence USA, released a video proving that he was present during the break-in.
“Google Maps is intentionally navigating in a haphazard manner.”
Ms. Liu also mentioned that on Jan. 6, Google Maps did not provide the subway route to the White House. If it is to check the route of Congress walking, Google intentionally gave the wrong direction and route, causing her to get separated from her friends at the scene and unable to rendezvous for a long time.
“I’ve been to DC before and have taken the subway. The previous time I went there, when I used Google Maps to navigate, it would provide the subway route to the White House, but this time it was not shown, and the reason given was probably ‘because of the impact of the epidemic, the frequency was reduced, so the subway route is not provided’, and only the driving route lines were shown, but the site was closed everywhere, and there were few people driving. ” She said.
Ms. Liu’s friend K said, “After we got separated from our friends at the scene, the navigation could pit us badly, and we couldn’t find anyone in the two teams who got separated for half a day. One is not a very good signal, and then we send each other a positioning, a navigation, both sides show to go 19 minutes, but the actual distance is not more than 5 minutes.”
After raking a large circle, at about 4 p.m., Ms. Liu and her friends finally rendezvoused, “It was about to get dark, and then we saw the news that Trump said he hoped everyone would go home safely, and we left.”
Ms. Liu and her friends who went to the rally together felt that the left did use all means to interfere with the people’s expression of public opinion.
