Rep. Mo Brooks, a Republican member of the U.S. Congress
In the face of Wednesday’s violent attack on the Capitol, Republican Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) tweeted that everyone should calm down and that the attack was orchestrated by the fascist ANTIFA, and provided several pieces of evidence.
The matter attracted worldwide attention on Wednesday (Jan. 6) when many people stormed the U.S. Capitol building during a joint session of Congress to certify the results of the presidential election, causing the certification process to be interrupted.
Brooks tweeted, “Please don’t be as quick to judge the attack on the Capitol as the fake media, and wait for the investigation, as there is growing evidence that Antifa orchestrated the attack through clever mob control tactics.
He issued the following four pieces of evidence.
“1. On Monday, a member of Congress warned me that the ANTIFA threat was increasing and advised me to sleep in my office rather than leave the Capitol to sleep in my apartment. I took that advice and slept in my office for four consecutive nights.”
“2. The congressman told me that on Tuesday the Capitol Police warned him that intelligence indicated that Antifa (ANTIFA) operatives of a fascist nature would be wearing the same costumes as Trump (Trump) supporters to infiltrate pro-Trump rallies.
“3. Capitol police advised Tuesday that it was best not to leave the Capitol.
“4. A great deal of public evidence suggests that many of those attacking the Capitol are Antifa militants, not Trump supporters.
“Again, time will reveal the truth, don’t rush to judgment and don’t be fooled by the fake media, which is driven by political leanings to report.
“My point is: prosecute everyone (involved) across the board!”
A retired military officer told The Washington Times that XRVision used its software to perform facial recognition on protesters, matching two Philadelphia Antifa members with two men inside the Senate.
The source provided the Washington Times with a photo match and found that one of the men had tattoos and supported violence to promote anarchy and turn the U.S. into a pro-Stalinist state. XRVision also identified another man who had appeared at the Black Lives Matter protests.
