Tea-Spiced Mao Beans

A while ago to picnic dragging Ji brought oolong tea beans, very much like, tea flavor with the taste of the beans is really a great summer dish & snacks!

Today tried with green tea, and the fragrance of oolong flavor and different, fresh with a little bitter, but also good. Because I basically do not drink green tea, so I use the home hoard of tea to cook, with ginger, chili, star anise and other hot seasonings to solve the cold green tea

Ingredients
Mao beans 1 catty
Green tea 1 tbsp
1 tbsp salt
1 star anise
Pepper a dozen
Aromatic leaves 2 slices
Chili two or three
Ginger two slices

How to make tea-scented beans

Prepare the seasoning

Fry the two ends of the beans, the pointed end 0.5 cm, the round end cut off a little, can facilitate the taste. Scrub the beans with salt, so as to remove the excess surface hair, and wash the peaches for a reason ~

Put in a pot of water that can probably just cover the beans, not too much water, then put in all the seasonings except salt, boil

Then put in salt and processed beans cooked for four or five minutes, medium heat can be cooked, the fire is too big beans easy to fall apart. Then turn off the heat and cover the pot with a lid and simmer until cooled to room temperature, then put the soup with water into a container in the refrigerator and refrigerate to taste ~ refrigerate time according to your own situation to adjust, of course, the longer the soaking time the more flavorful. If you want to eat immediately after stewing, you can extend the cooking time of the beans, as well as add more salt to taste

Tips

Different foods are suitable with different teas, for example, dried tea is very suitable for using Pu-erh tea brine, if you use green tea taste will be bad

Mao beans are certainly not suitable for pu-erh tea to do, but suitable for light green tea and fragrant iron Guanyin and other oolong

Do not too much water, more water seasoning flavor will be light, or taste a little heavier students simply increase the amount of salt

And then tea into the dish, usually tea flavor is very light and light, but the use of different teas and dishes occur in different relationships to achieve different effects
