The Daily Mail reports that a 38-year-old male former employee of Mercedes-Benz in Victoria, northern Spain, stole a bulldozer from a construction site in the early hours of December 31 last year and drove about 28 kilometers back to the former owner’s parking lot to destroy 50 new cars to vent his frustration with the former owner and was finally arrested. The damaged vehicles, including the Mercedes V-Class RV, worth nearly 90,000 euros, the factory’s preliminary estimate of the loss of about 2 million to 5 million euros.
The guards fired shots into the air to warn the man before he stopped the madness and destruction, the police later also arrested the man. The police said afterwards that the suspect worked at the Mercedes-Benz factory from 2016 to 2017, and they believe that the incident was because the man was dissatisfied with his work and held a grudge in retaliation.
