This is not the number of days, rather than human, all in the evil politics against the will of God, the human heart, killing the spirit, blocking the mind, this is to be true, so it is true, people sigh and sigh again!

This situation is especially prominent among the famous scholars of my generation, and the younger generations are also lazy. It is clear that it is their own thoughts on the paper, but they do not want to take the trouble to set it up, as if this is a marriage for others, rather than their own practice, strange. Perhaps, there are a lot of things to do, and there are priorities. It is also possible that the words are not written to leave a trace, and let the thoughts fly away. But today, looking back, there is no fame and fortune to push, so there is no heart to drive, or show or hide, is the main reason. This in the famous scholar, more and more open, no cover up. Lu Zhi of the Tang Dynasty tersely said that the small people are narrow, “tend to near profit and taste far away from the map, effect small faith and hurt the Avenue”, used here, is also similar. I have been expelled from the academic world, there is no longer a stake in the entanglement, today, I took the opportunity to say a word more about this, heavy words, you do not blame.

Fourth, around the table to discuss, regardless of discipline, do not distinguish between generations, do not speak of affinity, only to listen to whether there is reason, only to see whether the subject should be cut, and in the doctrinal analysis of the array, in front of the truth as one all beings are equal. The so-called “years” of “nurturing” here, my friend, may be up to several centuries, which has become a tradition, leisurely condensed gradually into a learned tradition, quietly connoted as the academic way of life.

The academic tradition is the mantle of civilization, cultivating the quality of literature internally and the political system externally, in order to fund the moral system, thus forming a tri-polar force of the moral system, the political system and the academic system, and laying the foundation for the world. Then the school system itself retains the source of living water, not only in seeking the tree of life of the school system itself evergreen, but also in refining politics for the political system, and giving the Taoist system with ideological aids. In this way, the intellectual stirring of the equal pursuit of truth and the spiritual sharpening of tolerance and acceptance of all dissent are the sources of living water for the school system. The reestablishment of the modern Chinese civilization has not yet ended, so we can open our hearts and minds to the trickle of water that will hopefully accumulate over the years to reach a vast and turbulent volume. What we are doing is just a little bit. In this regard, my generation is slightly better than the elders, and the new generation is stronger than my generation.

The fifth is to present dissenting views, to show the differences of mind and the plurality of hearts, without seeking so-called consensus. For any attempt to reach consensus in the world of thought, just as forced goodness will lead to evil, that is, an evil, may lead to the danger of spiritual suppression and tyranny of thought, or is it just an alias for tyranny. Rather, it is the purpose and the hope to show the diversity of ideas, to reveal the divergent rationales, and to search for a different way forward, so as to demonstrate the intricacies of academic theories, to experience the vastness of the human spirit, and to present the world of ideas in a myriad of ways, and to integrate the cultivation of talents and the cultivation of ideas in the same process. In this regard, “consensus” is a verb in the progressive tense, meaning process, meaning the present moment, not a noun, not a result. The pursuit of “consensus” is a form of generativity, not existentialism, and not epistemology. Here, the Rawlsian notion of “overlapping consensus” indicates the possibility of peace and difference, which expresses the possibility of human agreement based on sympathetic empathy and rational communication, but excludes any forceful will that might intervene in the process, which is not satisfactory. In this regard, Mr. Shizhi’s saying, “Tolerance is more important than freedom”, is a plain statement, but it can be regarded as the most important one.

The so-called “three schools of thought, theories and people”, which are read, spoken and drank, are centered around ideas, theories and people, and what haunts us is life and people’s hearts, their divisions and storms, their twists and turns, their ambiguities and openness, their contradictions and changes, and what hurts us more, their endless misunderstandings and misinterpretations, and the good intentions and bad results that pry the earth apart. The resultant sorrow, happiness and sadness trigger a tidal wave of thoughts, causing the heart and soul to swell, while the body feels heavy and the soul floats up. Here, the inquiry into the sample of the mind and the thinker means the reduction of his spiritual world in general, which is also a kind of life-political examination, and the homogenization of a great soul in its personality in the dimension of the philosophy of existence, just as the Christian faith means practicing the spiritual identity of one’s own mind with the personality of Christ, and starting from one’s own mind, one can hope to reach other minds.

Therefore, as Max Scheler said, the sense of cosmic unity in the historical mind, the true sense of unity, is based precisely on individual love, on the never-ending human desire for love. Love and desire, you are the source of life. Your strength and weakness, your ups and downs, determine the intensity of a living being’s life, manifesting as the spiritual light of a life. So, wow, all things are brothers, all things are good (Omne ens est bonum), and where the heart is happy is my country, and human feelings are my home (ibi patria, ubi bene). In other words, in the dual sense of civilizational identity and life politics, this means that the past life, the present life, and the next life are all three in one, merging in the present life of the researcher’s body and mind at this moment. Not only is “our present mind and thoughts are in fact a part of the past that emerges at the same time,” as the sages said, but the past is brought to life through us. Thus, the researcher of any thought, whether hidden or not, is a departed person, a messenger, a follower, and an unborn person who does not even know himself. Here also, as the philosopher said – and forgive me for dropping the ball so often, it is really the sages who have already said it long ago, and it is difficult for us to look back – “we are the children of a declining civilization, we are some born old people, and in this we are as young as the first people”. .

Yes, we, we humans, this mixture of a pile of vile and a ray of light, are destined to live a good life on earth and only on earth, to take care of our camp and must also live a good life, which is our only proper business, and that is why we invented thought, the need for thought, the ideal and dream to fill the sails of that boat of thought. All this progressive transformation, vitality comes alive, gives existence to the spirit, makes existence obtain existence, and makes the world endowed with worldliness. Everything is meaningless, but the meaning is here. Thought, a state of thought of the unyielding human spirit, linking the present and the past, the two ends of life and death, and heaven and man, is where the vitality of this vitality comes to life. The anthropological investigation is actually close to the destiny of heaven; truth and fear often appear together. Otherwise, existence is nothingness.

In fact, for every theory, figure, or person, there is a need for theories and theories, and for theories and figures. In fact, for every theory, person, event, and work, no matter how far apart they are, no matter how different the subject matter is, they are all related to the present concern, and always unconsciously cut across the deep anxiety about the “China question”.
