According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, a 3.0-magnitude earthquake hit Zhangzhou, Fujian at 8:34 am on January 3, with a depth of 28 km. The epicenter was located at 24.69 degrees North latitude and 117.70 degrees east longitude.
