It is suspected that the vandalism on New Year’s Eve at Speaker of the House Nancy Polosi’s house in San Francisco, California, is related to the blockage of her bailout package in Congress, but it is not clear if she was home at the time of the incident.
The photo circulated on Twitter shows that the garage door of Polosi’s residence was painted with “$2K ($2,000)”, “Cancel Rent! and “We want it all! The words “We want it all! There is an “A” circled on the left and right side, which is said to represent “anarchism”. A pig’s head was placed in the middle of the driveway, and red fake blood was thrown on the front door of the car.
San Francisco law enforcement sources told TMZ that police received a report of vandalism at the Polosi residence and arrived at the scene at 3 a.m. on the 1st, then completed an attendance report, but it was unclear if they had any suspects.
This is not the first time that Polosi’s residence was vandalized, the media went to check it out that afternoon, the car door had been covered with black plastic sheeting, fake blood and pig’s head was also cleared away. The police have been accused by disgruntled netizens on Twitter of trying to “block photos of the scene” and slammed the media for “silencing” the incident.
